What we are about:

GLBT Pride is About...

The purpose of this group is to show that no one is alone. With all these amazing artists out there, we can make art to inspire those who need inspiring, help those who are in the closet come out, and make friends with people who have similar interests of bettering the world, and making it more friendly for us all to live in. This world needs to be a little bit more friendly to people, and we are going to help it on it's way. As a gay guy, I know how hard things can be, and I know it was really nice to come out to find friends waiting for me. Also, all you have to be to join the group is someone who pushes for equality (Ex. you can still join the club if you are straight).

How to join:

GLBT pride club? Sorry, but despite being bi (or maybe pan-sexual), I'll have to say no for this one.
It's funny since my personal pride is exactly what's keeping me from joining (or sporting a discriminating nazi brand, or wearing rainbows).
That, and I find the term GLBT (LGBT?) to be rather offensive. It's like another way of saying "those OTHER folks", as in 'who deviate from the norm'.
That's 'liberalism' for you.

GLBT means Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Trans-Sexual/Transgendered. The GLBT community is often referred to as the gay community, even though that really is quite a lacking description. GLBT is the shortened version of the acronym: GLBTTSSQQI2, which is an acronym that encompasses everyone in the community.

G = Gay
L = Lesbian
B = Bi-Sexual
T = Transgendered
T = Trans-sexual
S = I forget
Q = Queer
Q = Questioning
P = Pan-sexual
I = Inter-sex
2 = 2nd Souled

Pan-sexual count, I just forgot it. Also, asexual really isn't a human characteristic, so it isn't counted.
